Off Leash and Free to do as I please.I am only let off leash for short periods of time and only when there are safeguards in place. However, I must admit those times are exhilarating. Oh yes! Thrilling, terrifying, exciting and stimulating could all be used to describe my brief experiences.
I can run, jump, smell and pee without fear, but these sensations never last long. Always too quickly I am once again clipped to my owner and must behave properly.
When did we decide as a nation it was acceptable to let the government off leash? We hired them, we pay them, they are accountable to us, they should be doing as we asked.
It is time once again to consider our leaders who are up for reelection. Did they do as we asked? Did they take more than we paid them? Did they earn what they were paid? Will they follow our wishes in the coming future? Will they work for all of us and not just some of us?
Will they protect our great nation from evil within and from lands far away? Will they value our brave men and women who serve this great nation? Will they remain humble?
