My Morning Constitutional
I don't know what it is about mornings, but I feel the need to step outside for a few minutes. I love to take my time and feel the wet grass on my paws, but my human is not thrilled to have to wipe me down afterward. Heaven forbid I get wet paw marks on the floor! Geesh! You would think I trampled over the Constitution with wet paws......
Let me see if I get this right: our president can trample on and ignore our Constitution, but he never gets in trouble. I put one paw mark on the floor and out comes the mop. Doesn't quite seem fair....
Our Constitution created the federal government and gave to it limited powers. It also provided our rights as citizens. Our president and some of our leaders ignore this, make up their own laws, and worse yet, they feel they have the power to take away our rights as American Citizens!
I think it is time we took back our country and use those powers to indict our leaders.
"Our constitution protects aliens, drunks and U.S. Senators."
